Pint Size Hero Campaign kicks off today

WHES kids of the "Pint Size Hero Campaign" today, Monday November 3. This is a community service project for our students in support of the American Red Cross and their ongoing blood donation needs. Our students are, of course, too young to donate blood themselves yet, but the Pint Size Hero project is designed to help students to encourage their love ones to become blood donors.

Our blood drive will be held on November 14, 2014 from 1:00-6:00pm. The Red Cross also accepts sign-ups at their website, redcrossblood.org, where members of our school community should search on our ZIP code (23225) to find the Westover Hills School drive, and pick a time to schedule your donation. Our school goal is a commitment of 50 pints which can save a total of 150 lives.
